The Green Bay Packers are hoping for another miracle
In the Wild Card round, the Packers defeated the Cowboys 48-32. The reason this isn’t unexpected is because the Cowboys haven’t lost at home since September 2022. So what happened?
Quarterback Jordan Love had a great performance, going 16-for-21 for 272 yards and three touchdowns, with no interceptions. It was quite the opposite in the case of Dallas QB Dak Prescott, who was completely overwhelmed by Green Bay’s defense, forcing him to make three interceptions.
It was the Packers’ best performance of the season, but is it enough? They’ve already accomplished a lot more than expected, so a loss to the No. 1 seed in the NFC on Saturday wouldn’t be too disappointing.
The San Francisco 49ers are taking things seriously
The Niners are among the top Super Bowl favorites, which is no surprise considering they finished the regular season as the No. 1 seed in the NFC. This gave them a week off to prepare for the sectional round.
They were probably preparing for a matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, so maybe they’ll have to change their game plan a little this coming weekend. However, the good news for their fans is that even with the lack of preparation, they look good enough to beat the Packers.
These guys have a lot of weapons in their arsenal, not to mention the NFC Divisional game is being played at home. However, it will be a real shock if they don’t win on Saturday. In fact, the only big question ahead for this match is whether they will cover the 10-point spread. Will they do that?
